Planning and executing a party of any size or type from 10 people to 1000 people can be very stressful and overwhelming. A party is a step-by-step process and it can actually be FUN if you have the right state of mind.
The first thing you need to do is BREATHE. My philosophy is that whatever is going to happen will happen – just try to relax and let your Entertainment and venue take care of it.

It starts with hiring people: Entertainment, venue or function hall, caterer, photographer, videographer, and even flowers and balloons. The best way to judge is by your own comfort level. This is key because your own inner vibe is very important.
After the hiring process, it’s time to decide what kind of party you want, your vision of the details of your party. The Entertainment that you hire should listen and give advice about the kind of party that you desire. This is the most important detail for the success of the party.
The second thing is the detail, getting the information needed to make the party flow smoothly. The detail is very important so everyone will be on the same page and you can relax and enjoy the festivities.
Zimon Entertainment sends out a detailed Party Questionnaire 6 weeks before your party. This is to get as much information as possible. You fill it out and send it back, 2 weeks before the party we call you to go over the party and write down the detail in agenda form. The detail is passed along to the venue and to all who are involved in the party. This will allow you to be a Guest at your own party.
The third helpful hint is experienced entertainment. Experience is a very important factor when it comes to parties. An Entertainment service should have several things to identify their experience: the first is client evaluations, which are recommendations in writing from former clients. The second is video or DVD of a standard party so you can see and get an idea of what kind of entertainment that particular service provides. The third is the most important, speak to the Entertainment service and get a feel for them. Ask a lot of questions. The entertainment service should be knowledgeable about your type of party. They should be able to give ideas and information on a time line for your party. The idea is, is that you are Comfortable with the company that you hire.
